Re-shanking a ring with a GoldiLock shank is easy for any bench jeweler. Laser installation is reccomended. Contact us with any technical questions!

1. Shape the customer's ring to the finished finger size.
2. Split the top of the GoldiLock shank and gently form it on a mandrel to match the finished finger size. *The GoldiLock shank can be carefully adjusted from size 2.5 up to size 12.5.
3. Align the customer's ring and the GoldiLock shank on the mandrel and mark the locations for cutting.
4. Cut and fit the components as required.
5. Solder the ring and GoldiLock shank together.
6. Clean, finish, and inspect the assembly to ensure smooth operation of the mechanism.
